Alice Update | June 2014

Okay, so I have been somewhat absent from blogging for a while, sorry if you're a regular reader, if I have any... It was our final project at college and I needed to be totally focused because I get distracted as it is! Anyway I handed that in and now my blogging is back in business! I hope to start blogging on a specific day so that I can communicate with you a lot better, Maybe Fridays? Sundays? not sure yet.

I am also in the middle of re'vamping' my blog hence why it looks rather plain, its under construction
I'm going for a more modern look with things! Yes I am doing it myself that's why it takes so long! not a fan of coding!

I also got a spot at Sunderland university.... basically unconditional for Fashion Product & Promotion.
I'm really excited for that, ill be staying at home and 'commuting' not that I could call it that!

I also joined the gym in an attempt to get that summer bod. which everybody does in the summer. Nothing out of the ordinary really, just thinking of things to say rather than I didn't post because I was procrastinating.

However this summer I'm hoping to get a lot more creative with posts, like outdoor style snippets. My Tripod is terrible and I need a windless day to shoot outside! Maybe even some 'follow me around' photos.

Make-Up Brushes | Beauty on a Budget March 2014

                                                                  Set of Kabuki Brushes

I bought these brushes from Ebay towards the end of last year, and they have served me well!
They were £9.98 with free shipping for all eight brushes! You get four larger brushes and four smaller  sizes.

These are the four larger sizes, a flat top Stippling type kabuki, a slightly more tapered kabuki, an angled top kabuki and lastly the contour shaped kabuki.  These brushes are really thick and are great for moving around creme product. I don't use powder products with these brushes as they pick up to much product even when you tap off the excess.

The same applies for the eye brushes! The smaller contour shaped kabuki I like to use for straight up eyeshadow application! its great for packing on the product! The stippling brush I use for Creme eyeshadow bases, lastly the angled and tapered eye kabukis are used for blending! They look quite big but they're great for winging out a smokey eye!

Apologies for the manky brushes!
But I highly Recommend these if you like me, a make-up brush addict or even better just starting out and wanting something to try?
buy them here
